The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSMTED) is pleased to announce applications for the 2026 Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust Scholarships.

The LSTMED Ferguson Scholarships are full scholarships that cover fees, living costs, flights, and visa requirements for international students to pursue master’s degrees at the institution. 

Requirements

To be considered for the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine Ferguson Scholarships, you must:

  • nationals of, and be ordinarily domiciled in a Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC) 
  • Be intending to return to a LMIC on completion of their course 
  • Be applying for the full-time, on-campus Master of Public Health International, MSc Humanitarian Studies or MSc Tropical and Infectious Diseases 
  • Have a conditional offer from LSTM for their preferred course.

Eligible Programmes

The Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust provides funding for LMIC applicants to the following programmes:
