Ekiti State Government has annouced their 2025/2026 Scholarship Application.
EKITI STATE GOVERNMENT has instituted various scholarship and bursary awards for Ekiti state students in Nigerian tertiary institutions
Requirements
Applicants must be in their 2nd year and above in their courses of study to qualify for undergraduate scholarship awards.
- Must possess WASSCE/NECO with a minimum of five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, at one sitting.
- CGPA of 4.0 and above for universities or Second Class (Upper Division)
- CGPA of 3.50 and above for Polytechnics and Colleges of Education
Master’s Degree and Ph.D applicants:
- Master’s: Must have at least a Second Class (Upper Division) at undergraduate level.
- Ph.D: Must have at least a Distinction in Master’s degree. Those with less than Distinction are not eligible.
- A letter of recommendation from the Head of Department (HOD) is required.
Physically Challenged Students in tertiary institutions (University, Polytechnic, College of Education, School of Nursing/Midwifery, College of Health Tech, and Postgraduates) are qualified for the Handicapped Scholarship Award.
Students on Part-Time and Sandwich courses are NOT qualified for the scholarship awards.
