Applications for the Egbe Omo Yoruba Scholarship 2025 are now open for interested Nigerian undergraduates.
The Egbe Omo Yoruba of Greater Miami Valley in the USA is offering up to ₦360,000 ($250) to several Nigerian students who are enrolled in universities across the country.
Requirements
To be considered for the Egbe Omo Yoruba of Greater Miami Valley Scholarship, you must:
- Attend an accredited University/Polytechnic in Nigeria.
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 or 3.75/5.0 on the grading scale.
- Provide essential information, including:
- Name of the University/Polytechnic
- City & State of the institution
- Full Name as per University/Polytechnic records
- Transcript as proof of educational performance, specifying Major, Year Level, and Cumulative GPA.
- Demonstrate financial need through a well-articulated written statement (short essay) submitted with the application.
- Submit a letter of recommendation from an academic staff member familiar with the student’s performance and character.
Benefits
Each awardee will receive the Naira equivalent of US dollars of $250 at the time of the award.
