Applications for the Egbe Omo Yoruba Scholarship 2025 are now open for interested Nigerian undergraduates.

The Egbe Omo Yoruba of Greater Miami Valley in the USA is offering up to ₦360,000 ($250) to several Nigerian students who are enrolled in universities across the country.

Requirements

To be considered for the Egbe Omo Yoruba of Greater Miami Valley Scholarship, you must:

• Attend an accredited University/Polytechnic in Nigeria.
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 or 3.75/5.0 on the grading scale.
• Provide essential information, including:
  • Name of the University/Polytechnic
  • City & State of the institution
  • Full Name as per University/Polytechnic records
  • Transcript as proof of educational performance, specifying Major, Year Level, and Cumulative GPA.
• Demonstrate financial need through a well-articulated written statement (short essay) submitted with the application.
• Submit a letter of recommendation from an academic staff member familiar with the student’s performance and character.

Benefits

Each awardee will receive the Naira equivalent of US dollars of $250 at the time of the award.

• Uncompleted applications will be REJECTED.
• Official or Unofficial transcripts must be readable & Clear.  
       –  Submit Full transcripts for every year in school. 
       – No cut & paste or handwritten transcripts.
• A recommendation letter must be from an academic staff member in your department, college, or University and signed by him or her only.  
• Unsigned, fake, AI-generated, & cut & paste signature(s) will be rejected.
