The LONG Empowerment Foundation Scholarships are dedicated to enabling equitable access to education, ensuring that you do not give up your educational goals due to financial hardship.
Benefits
Successful applicants will receive up to N350,000 per academic year, renewable based on academic performance and need.
Requirements
- You are aged 16–26 years at the time of application
- You have secured admission into an accredited Nigerian university
- As a continuing students you have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of second class upper i.e, 3.5 on a scale of 5.0 or its equivalent.
- As a new student you present proof of admission, which includes a signed admission and acceptance letter, a copy of WAEC results with a minimum of 5 credits, and copy of JAMB result with a minimum score of 200.
- You are from a low-income family with an annual income of less than 3 million Naira per annum and you are able to provide evidence of financial need through your parent’s bank statements, or a recommendation from your school’s bursar, another registered scholarship giving organization you’ve benefited from or a member of our serving Board of Trustees.
- You demonstrate leadership potential and community involvement
