The Trent University Scholarship is for international students seeking to pursue bachleor’s degrees in Canada.

The Trent University International Scholarships award in amounts up to $40,000 per academic year, and up to $160,000 over a 4-year undergraduate degree at the institution.

Requirements

To be considered for the Trent University International Scholarships, you must satisfy the following criteria:

  • You must be an international student paying international fees.
  • You will be studying in Canada on a study permit.
  • You must have applied to an undergraduate degree program at Trent University for the Winter 2026, Summer 2026 or Fall 2026 intake. Post graduate certificate and Master/PhD students are not eligible.
  • You must meet Trent University’s Admission requirements, including general and degree-specific requirements and the English Language Proficiency Requirements. (Please note that students do not need an admission offer to apply for the scholarships and awards).
  • You have a final high school average of 80% or more (Canadian Equivalent).
  • You must submit a complete application through your myTrent portal before the “Apply Before Date” for each cohort.
  • You will need to fulfill the conditions of your conditional offer letter and register for courses to receive the scholarship amount.

Benefits

There are numerous scholarships available for international students at Trent University in Canada. These include;

Trent International Renewable Entrance Scholarships

These range in value from $1,500 to $4,000 annually and are renewable over the course of your undergraduate degree provided you meet the eligibility criteria each year of your undergraduate program.

Renewable Prestigious Scholarships and Awards

These Scholarships and Awards fund tuition and mandatory ancillary fees at Trent in amounts up to $40,000 per academic year, and up to $160,000 over a 4-year degree.
