The Olam Agric Africa Finance Programme is a structured learning journey designed to build a strong finance talent pipeline across Africa and accelerate the readiness of finance professionals through cohort onboarding, rotations, finance exposure, and a final job stint.
Your 12-Month Programme Journey
Phase 1
- Corporate Onboarding (Full Cohort)
- Start as part of a full cohort to build your network and understand Olam Agri—our operating model, how we work across Africa, and key support functions.
Phase 2
- BU / Country Rotations (Pair)
- Complete structured rotations in pairs to deepen your understanding of countries, businesses, and value chains with field and market visits.
Phase 3
- Finance Exposure (Individual)
- Move into deeper finance immersion covering policies, reporting, treasury, compliance, risk management, FP&A, and SAP/digital finance.
Phase 4
- Job Stint (Individual) + Reviews
- Transition into an on-the-job stint, delivering outcomes and your business project, concluding with final review and graduation

Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Finance (or equivalent)
- Certification: ACCA / FMVA / CFA / DFCE / ICAN or equivalent
- Experience: Around 3–5 years in a finance-related role
- Language: English mandatory; an additional local language may be required depending on the country (e.g., French/Portuguese).
- Mobility: Willing to work across Africa, including remote locations

Shortlisted applicants complete an assessment covering verbal, numerical, and logical reasoning.
- Virtual Assessment / Business Case

- First Round Interview
Interviews conducted by local Finance and HR stakeholders to assess fit and capabilities.
- Offer & Background Checks
Successful candidates proceed to background verification including identity, education, employment, and compliance screening.
