One Young World is committed to empowering young people from diverse backgrounds and cultures to become agents of positive change in their communities, and empowering First Nations and Indigenous youth is a strategic priority.

Kokoro champions mental health as the foundation for a safer, kinder and more productive world. Across their work, Kokoro champion and support ingenuity and collaboration in mental health, elevating the voices of those having real impact on the ground and who are integrating mental health services across the Sustainable Development Goals.

In line with One Young World’s Indigenous Strategy and Kokoro’s mission to champion impactful mental health actors, we’re teaming up to launch the One Young World | Kokoro Scholarship. The scholarship will identify and connect a multi-disciplinary team of young Indigenous leaders in the USA and Canada who are leading effective and innovative mental health solutions in their communities and countries.
