Applications are invited for Ryerson University the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship for the academic year 2018-2019. The scholarship is available for pursuing a doctoral program in social sciences and humanities.
Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing a doctoral program.
Eligible Nationalities: Scholarship is available for Canadian Students.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant applying to a doctoral program in the social sciences and humanities or registered full-time in the first or second year of such a program at a Canadian university.
- Be a Canadian citizen applying to a doctoral program in the social sciences and humanities or registered full-time in the first or second year of such a program at a foreign university.
- Be a foreign national [with a preference for candidates from the developing world] applying to a doctoral program in the social sciences and humanities or registered full-time in the first or second year of such a program at a Canadian university.
- Present a research project linked to one of the Foundation’s four themes (Human rights and dignity; Responsible citizenship; Canada in the world; People and their natural environment).
- Be nominated by a university.
Method of Application: Ryerson University processes all applications for this scholarship. Students located in any Canada state should follow the Ryerson University application process. There is no fee for submitting a scholarship application.
