The University of Strathclyde was founded in 1796 and has a rich history of teaching and innovation. Located in the centre of Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city, we are home to students from over 100 countries.

The University of Strathclyde offers the Strathclyde Excellence Scholarships for new undergraduate students who enter the University in the current academic year and achieve AAB or above at A Level (or equivalent).

Course Level: Scholarships are available to Undergraduate Coursework.

Eligible Countries: Scholarships are open to local students.

Eligibility Criteria: The scholarship is awarded to new undergraduate students who enter the University in the current academic year and achieve AAB or above at A Level (or equivalent). Applicants with the first degree from a recognized university and academically talented, disadvantaged based on the criteria of disability, socioeconomic status, and are not engaged at work at all or have been engaged at work but couldn’t able to cover their study expenses will be eligible for the scholarship.

  • Have financial difficulty to finance graduate university education and,
  • Have leadership/community giveback experience or potential.

Method of Application: Eligible students will be identified automatically through their University application.

  • Before the end of September 2018, eligible students will receive an email to their University of Strathclyde email address telling them they will receive the award
  • The email will include the payment dates and how it will be paid to you.
