The Novo Nordisk Foundation is inviting applications for PhD Scholarships in Nursing Research to study in Denmark. International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

It is the wish of the Novo Nordisk Foundation for nursing in Denmark to be research-based, and for the Danish nursing profession to develop to the highest quality possible for the benefit of the entire nursing and patient treatment process. With this call, the Novo Nordisk Foundation invites for applications for PhD scholarships in nursing research.

Course Level: Scholarships are available to study PhD programme.

Eligible Countries: International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must meet the following criteria:

The applicant must be a nurse and meet the requirements for attaining the PhD degree following the rules and regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science (Uddannelses- og Forskningsministeriet), of September 1, 2013.

The scholarships are aimed at 3-year research educations for particularly promising and ambitious nurses with research projects of high quality. The applicant must be anchored at a university in Denmark, and a letter of commitment from the host institution must be submitted with the application.

Please note, that applicant must not be enrolled earlier than 1 January in the current year, they apply for a PhD scholarship within nursing research.
