Applications are currently invited from interested and qualified international students for the University of Georgia Masters Scholarship.

Students offered the University of Georgia Scholarship will receive graduate research assistantship stipends of $30,000 per year, including tuition and other benefits. 

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the University of Georgia Scholarship 2026, you must have a:

  • BS in Statistics or in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Ecology, Mathematics, Natural Resources) with additional quantitative or programming experience;
  • proficiency with R or other coding languages (e.g., Python);
  • experience managing data and developing data visualizations.
    Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience analyzing monitoring data; familiarity with statistical analyses and modeling (e.g., GLMMs, GAMs, occupancy modeling) of monitoring data;
  • written and oral communication skills corresponding to quantitative analyses.

Benefits

  • The position start date is early Aug. 2026.
  • Funding is available for 2 years approximately $24,000 – $30,000 / year, plus benefits.
