A fully funded Masters opportunity is available at the University of Texas at Tyler for international and home students.
The University of Texas Scholarship offers a graduate assistantship that covers the tuition fees of selected candidates and a living stipend of $21,000 per year.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the University of Texas Masters Scholarship, you must have:
- A BS in Biology or a related field (such as ecology, environmental science, or environmental studies)
- Willingness to perform field work under hot Texas summer conditions.
- Permission to live, work, and attend a degree program in the United States
- Ability to start in mid-August 2026 (THIS FALL. Only several weeks away.)
Benefits
- The position includes $7,000 per semester for four semesters, $7,000 in salary for one summer, and covers four semesters of tuition.
- This thesis-directed position will focus on the genetics and ecology of snake fungal disease in Texas.
