Applications are now open for the 2026 Daystar Power Group Women in Power Training Program. This one-year program offers hands-on experience, expert mentorship, and the opportunity to grow into a future leader in the solar industry.

The program runs on six pillars:

  1. Advanced solar engineering training, beyond classroom theory
  2. Hands-on project experience on live sites and installations
  3. Industry-ready skills and safety protocols used globally
  4. Direct mentorship from experienced Daystar engineers
  5. Leadership training in managing teams and projects
  6. A professional network of peers and industry experts

Requirements

  1. Education: a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable University
  2. Completion of NYSC
  3. Experience: 0 – 2 years experience
  4. Strong interest in solar energy and sustainability.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Candidate Profile

  1. Self-motivated female engineer with a learner’s mindset.
  2. Passion for renewable energy.
