The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) has officially announced the opening of applications for its Postgraduate Foreign Scholarship Programme for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The GETFund Scholarship is a fully funded opportunity for Ghanaian students to pursue postgraduate degrees in foreign universities (in the UK, USA, Canada, Europe, or other African countries).
All participation costs, including tuition, accommodation, living stipend, travel, and health insurance, will be covered by the Government of Ghana.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the GETFund Foreign Scholarship, you must:
- Be Ghanaian citizens
- Hold a relevant undergraduate degree
- Gain admission into a recognised foreign postgraduate programme
- Demonstrate academic merit and potential
- Align proposed studies with national development priorities
