Applications are currently invited from interested and qualified international students for the University of Georgia Masters Scholarship.

Students offered the University of Georgia Scholarship will receive graduate research assistantship stipends of $23,453 per year, including tuition and other benefits. 

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the University of Georgia Scholarship 2026, you must:

  • an expressed interest in wildlife biology, white-tailed deer, genetics, and/or disease.  
  • have completed a Bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology and management, Pre-Vet track, or related fields.
  • have a Bachelor’s degree GPA >3.0.  
  • be comfortable working on a computer, developing their statistical analysis and R coding skills. 

Benefits

  • The position start date is negotiable, but must begin by August 13, 2026 and funding is available for 2 years with the potential of an additional 0.5 years if awarded a teaching assistantship.
  • The annual stipend of the scholarship is $23,453 per year.
