The Department of Food Science at the University of Guelph in Canada is currently recruiting interested and qualified postgraduate students willing to study in the University.

The University of Guelph Scholarship will cover the fees of the selected candidates by offering full financial support, including tuition and a living stipend.

Students will also receive well rounded training in the announced field and are as well open to employment opportunities in government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and consulting firms.

Requirements:

To be considered for the University of Guelph Graduate Assistantship, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, data science, agricultural science, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Interest in food systems, data-driven modelling, or agricultural systems.
  • Experience with statistics and machinE learning (Python, MATLAB, or R) is desirable.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and able to work in an interdisciplinary research environment.Must meet University of Guelph MSc minimum admission requirements (A-/80% and above entrance average).
