Chevening Scholarships are fully-funded, leaving you free to focus on achieving your professional goals and maximising the experience of a lifetime. You will live and study in the UK for a year, during which time you will develop professionally and academically, network extensively, experience UK culture, and build lasting positive relationships with the UK.

Requirements

• Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory.  
• Commit to returning to your home country for at least two years after your scholarship ends.
• Have at least two years (equivalent to 2,800 hours) of work experience.
• Hold an undergraduate degree that qualifies you for a UK master’s programme. 
• Apply to three different and eligible ?UK university courses. You must have received an unconditional offer from at least one of these course choices by the references and education documents deadline listed on the application timeline.

Selection Process

• 5th August, 2025: Application Opens
• 7th October, 2025: Application Closes
• October 2025: Applicants are filtered using the eligibility criteria
• Mid October 2025 to January 2026: Applicantions are accessed
• Mid February 2026: Applicants are shortlisted for interviews
• March – April 2026: Shortlisted applicants are interviewed
• Mid-June 2026: Results are announced
• 9th July, 2026: Deadline to submit your unconditional offer from a UK University
• September/October 2026: Studies Begin
