The Obafemi Awolowo Future Leaders Fellowship Programme is a highly selective, merit-based initiative inspired by the enduring legacy of Chief Obafemi Awolowo. It is built for young leaders who demonstrate principled governance, intellectual rigour, and a commitment to human development.

Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Age 20-35 years
- From Africa, the Caribbean, or the African diaspora
- Show strong leadership potential, integrity, and service orientation
- Be available for the full programme duration
Selection Process
Programme Structure
- Commencement:Â October 4, 2026
- Duration:Â 8 weeks
- Schedule: Saturdays, 6:00pm – 10:00pm (Nigeria Time, WAT – UTC+1)
- Format:Â Virtual sessions, interactive workshops, mentorship, and cohort collaboration
- Commitment:Â 4 hours per week
