We are pleased to inform you of 2024 K-GKS (K-Global Korea Scholarship) Guidelines for Master’s and Doctoral candidates here in Korea.

As the one and only national engineering specialized university in Korea, we will be able to nominate candidates up to 10 for this K-GKS admission. This might be a great opportunity for you to be able to study in Korea with a full regional government scholarship and to settle down with decent jobs supported by Gyeongsangbuk-do and KIT.

Please see attached for further information and if there are any candidates interested in this program, please send me one original application document package by post and one scanned soft copy by E-mail no later than April 19th, (Friday), 2024. Your original application documents must be delivered to my office by the deadline.

Requirements

  • Hold citizenship from another country other than Korea.
  • Have obtained the required degree required for a Master’s or PhD
  • CGPA* must be equal to or above 2.64/4.0, 2.80/43.2.91/4.5or3.23/5.0
  • Be under 40 years of age (born after September 1, 1984)
  • Be in good health, both mentally and physically, to study in Korea for the full duration of the program
