Fully Funded Scholarships at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in China, 2019

The Confucius Institute of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart is now accepting applications for Hanban Scholarship Program for the academic year 2018-19 to study in the People’s Republic of China. Non-Chinese students are eligible to apply.

Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue undergraduate, master and language programme.

Eligible Nationalities: Non-Chinese students are eligible to apply.

1. Master’s Degree Program – Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages ??(MTCSOL)

• The maximum duration of 2 academic years (starting from 1/9/2018)
• Requirements:
• HSK 5 (vote min 210)
• Intermediate HSKK (Min. Vote 60)
• Bachelor degree

2. Bachelor’s Degree Program – Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages ??(BTCSOL)

• The maximum duration of 4 academic years (starting from 1/9/2018)
• Requirements:
• HSK 4 (vote min 210)
• Intermediate HSKK (Min. Vote 60)

3. Language Program of an academic year

• Maximum duration: 11 months – only starting from 1/9/2018

Scholarship: Teaching Chinese to Foreigners (TCSOL: Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages)

• Requirements:
• HSK 3 (vote min 270)
• HSKK

Scholarship: Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese History and Chinese Philosophy

• Requirements:
• HSK 4 (vote at least 180)
• Intermediate HSKK (Min. Vote 60)

Scholarship: Chinese Language

• Requirements:
• HSK 3 (vote at least 180)

4. Language Program of an academic semester

• Maximum duration: 5 months – starting from 1/9/2018 or from 1/3/2019

Full scholarship TCSOL, Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese History and Chinese Philosophy

• Requirements:
• HSK 3 (vote min 210)
• HSKK

Scholarship complete with Chinese culture (Chinese Medicine and Taijiquan)

• Requirements: HSK certificate

5. Short Language Program

• Maximum duration: 4 weeks – July 2018 or December 2018
• Requirements:
• Knowledge of Chinese language proven by an HSK certificate

Scholarship of Chinese Medicine, Taijiquan 

Chinese Language scholarship with accommodation in a Chinese family 

• Reserved for groups of students (between 10 and 15) of the Confucius Institute of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart
• The fellows will follow Chinese language courses and will experience life within a Chinese family

Scholarship for students of the Confucius Institute and Confucius Halls

3. Complete and upload the Confucius Institute Scholarship Application form online :
   Indicate “Confucius Institute at Catholic University of the Sacred Heart” as a ‘recommending institute’;
   b. indicate Prof. Elisa Maria Giunipero as ” referee “;
4. Upload all required documentation online by 30 May 2018
