The National College of Art and Design is delighted to offer two full-tuition scholarships for the 2018-2019 academic year. The scholarship is open to both EU and non-EU applicants. The scholarships will be awarded on academic merit and all applicants are eligible, including EU and non-EU students.

Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue MA programme.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for this scholarship you must meet the following requirements:

This award is aimed at experienced contemporary artists with a track record of exhibiting both in Ireland and abroad. A postgraduate qualification in Fine Art is desirable. As the award is for a studio only, applicants will need to have their own accommodation.

Method of Application: E-mail the following items to Hazel Crowley, MFA administrator crowleyh-at-staff.ncad.ie titling your e-mail as Studio Award 2018.

Application material should be sent as attachments, not in the body of an email.

  • Your CV
  • Up to ten images of recent work with an accompanying list indicating title, date, and media. Video clips up to 10 minutes duration can also be submitted links to video clips should be sent as separate attachments not inside the email.
  • A one-page artist’s statement
  • A one-page expression of interest indicating why your practice, in particular, is relevant to the Studio Award context of the postgraduate MFA Fine Art programme and studios.
