Applications are invited for SeNSS ESRC-funded Postdoctoral Fellowship for international students at UK higher institutions.

These fellowships aimed at those in the immediate postdoctoral stage of their career.

Course Level: Fellowships are available to pursue Postdoctoral programme.

Scholarship can be taken in The SeNSS Consortium consists of the following ten universities:

  • University of East Anglia
  • University of Essex
  • Goldsmiths, University of London
  • University of Kent
  • Reading University
  • Roehampton University
  • Royal Holloway, University of London
  • University of Surrey
  • University of Sussex

Eligible Nationalities: International students are eligible to apply for this fellowship.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for this scholarship you must meet the following requirements:

This call is open to applicants who have:

1) Completed their Ph.D. at a research organization that is part of a current ESRC-funded Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) or Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT). A list of these DTPS and CDTs is available at the bottom of the ESRC Post-Doctoral Fellowships web page; and,

2) By 23 March 2018 (the application deadline), either been awarded a Ph.D. or submitted their thesis and passed their viva voce with minor corrections, with the expectation that their Ph.D. will be awarded by the Fellowship start date; and,

3) No more than 12 months of active post-doctoral experience. This 12 month period is calculated from the viva voce being passed to the closing date of the competition, 23 March 2018.
