The World Veterinary Association is a federation representing more than eighty veterinary medical associations around the world. Its objective is to promote animal health and welfare and the realisation that animals and man live interconnected lives.
MSD Animal Health and the World Veterinary Association (WVA) are offering Veterinary Student Scholarship Program. Scholarships are available for students currently enrolled and in good standing at a recognized school of veterinary medicine in their country.
The Scholarship Program is dedicated to veterinary students from four world regions with the aim of enhancing their academic experience.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for students currently enrolled and in good standing at a recognized school of veterinary medicine in their country.
Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the field of veterinary medicine.
Scholarship Benefits: There are 41 scholarships of US 5000$ (of a total of $205,000).
Number of Scholarships: The programme will offer 41 scholarships to selected students from countries in the regions of Latin America (16 grants), Africa (10 grants), North Africa/Middle East (10 grants) and Asia/Oceania (5 grants).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Citizen of one of the countries under the grant coverage.
- Second or Third-year veterinary students (accomplishment of first-year exams).
- Currently enrolled and in good standing at a recognized school of veterinary medicine in their country.
Eligible Nationalities: Students from Latin America, Africa, North Africa/Middle East and Asia/Oceania are eligible.
Method of Application: Completed application must be submitted via email or by post.
