Benefits: The financial assistance application is used to consider prospective students for:
Dean’s and Kennedy Fellowships: These fellowship awards include a minimum of half-tuition, which may be augmented by need-based scholarships, depending on individual financial need.
Public Service Fellowships: These up to full-tuition and possible stipend fellowships have been established by alumni, friends and former president Lawrence Summers to support students who are committed to working in public service.
Method of Application:
HKS offers fellowships for which admitted applicants are automatically considered and therefore do not submit a financial assistance application.
U.S. citizens and permanent residents who wish to be considered for need-sensitive scholarships and/or loans must also complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form online and have the results sent to the John F. Kennedy School of Government. FAFSA’s should be submitted the school code of E00215.
