CFM quality work has been awarded by the Basque Government through the Basque Excellence Research (BERC) program.

CFM offers a 3-years research contract to perform a PhD project at the Materials Physics Center, joint centre CSIC-University of the Basque Country, San Sebastian, Spain. This position is open to applicants from all around the world.

The aim of the position is to give opportunities to develop collaborations and build a global network of contacts of great added value.

Course Level:  These positions are available to pursue PhD programme.

Study Subject: These positions are awarded in the field of:  Computational study of the competition between intra- and inter-molecular bonding of polymers in solution: From single-chain nanoparticles to gels

Scholarship Award: The position will cover the following:

• The position will cover a period of 3 years. The salary will be 17.283,24 € per year (before taxes).

Numbers of Scholarships: One position is available.

Scholarship can be taken in Spain

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet all the following area for this position (please note that otherwise the application will not be considered):

Background in soft matter science.
MSc degree in Physics, Chemistry or related fields, or expected to obtain it before November 2017.
Experience in molecular dynamics and/or Monte Carlo simulations.
