The Franklin University in Switzerland offers  scholarship supports international students to pursue bachelors degrees at the institution.

The Franklin University Switzerland Scholarships offers a $52,894.52 annual award to support the studies of degree-seeking undergraduates based on academic and personal achievements.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Franklin University Scholarship Switzerland, you must:

  • be degree-seeking undergraduate admitted students.
  • have achievements in high school and/or transferable undergraduate work. 
  • meet the entry requirements of the university.
  • satisfy the English Language requirements of the Franklin University.

  • Franklin Honors Award

Amount: $ 3,000 to $10,000

For: students with a GPA of at least 3.5 or the equivalent and evidence of a rigorous academic curriculum as well as exceptional academic performance.

  • Ambassador Wilfried Geece Program

Amount:  $3,000

For: candidates who are preparing for an IB diploma, taken and received a 4 or 5 on AP exams, and/or successfully completed dual enrollment coursework and display an outstanding academic performance and personal achievements. 

  • Brian Stanford Award 

Amount: variable – between $3,000 and $5,000

For: students who demonstrate particular promise and achievements in creative fields.

  • Ann Gardiner Award

Amount: variable – between $ 2,500 and $ 5,000

For: students who have demonstrated particular commitment to environmental science, heritage, environmental studies and plan for careers related to the environment, climate action, sustainable development, and/or related global policymaking.

Method of Application

To apply for the Franklin University Switzerland Scholarships, interested and qualified candidates should;

  • Apply for admission to the university by December 1, November 15, or April 1 deadline.
  • All undergraduate applicants are considered for merit awards as part of the admissions process, which are awarded at the time of admission, with priority given to students who apply by the December 1 deadline. 
  • You will be notified in your acceptance letter if you were awarded a merit or a special scholarship.
