During your internship, you will have, among other things, the following tasks:

  • Supporting the GIZ team in implementing project activities, with a focus on GHHG activities.
  • Support in the planning, preparation and execution of the GHHG annual conference in July 2026?
  • Content management of the digital platform for hub members (collaboration space), including planning and implementation of participation opportunities, such as surveys.
  • Writing articles for the website and newsletters
  • Support in the preparation, planning and implementation of a series of events on global health for political decision-makers and other events in the political arena
  • Support in the preparation, execution and documentation of various internal and external events (including meetings of the GHHG steering committee, webinars)
  • Support in managing members, hub communities and their community products (such as policy papers) and in building partnerships
  • Managing the hub’s information mailbox and answering member inquiries.

Benefits

The monthly intern salary is €2,349 (gross).

Requirements

  • University degree in health, social sciences, political science or economics – preferably with a focus on public/international/global health or international relations
  • Prior experience in development cooperation and collaboration with ministries is an advantage.
  • Experience in the field of communication/public relations and event management
  • Knowledge of network or multi-stakeholder organizations is advantageous.
  • Strategic, analytical and interdisciplinary thinking
  • Organizational skills and initiative
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in scientific and generally understandable language.
  • Very good German and English skills
