The Korea International Cooperation Agency has called for applications for its KOICA Scholarship 2026 from students from foreign partner countries.

The Korea International Cooperation Agency Scholarship offers a fully funded opportunity covering tuition, monthly stipend, round-trip international airfare, settlement allowance. university housing, and national health insurance.

Requirements

To be considered for the Korea International Cooperation Agency Scholarship, you must:

  • Be a citizen of an eligible country (see list below)
  • Be in good physical and mental health
  • Be under 40 years old as of February 1, 2026
  • Have proficiency in English (as courses are taught in English)
  • Be a civil servant or professional officially recommended by their government
  • Have relevant professional experience of at least 2 years for Master’s and 3 years for Doctorate programs

Benefits

The KOICA Scholarship covers;

  • Full tuition fee exemption
  • Monthly allowance of approximately 999,000 KRW (around USD 750)
  • Round-trip international airfare
  • Settlement allowance (600,000 KRW for Master’s, 1,200,000 KRW for Doctorate)
  • University housing
  • National health insurance
  • Support for academic and cultural activities
  • Completion grant at the end of the program (300,000 KRW for Master’s, 600,000 KRW for Doctorate)
