The Federal Government has announced the reopening of the 2025 YIEDEP Registration Portal.
With a ₦500,000 grant up for grabs, the Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme (YEIDEP) is an initiative that aims to facilitate and provide adequate economic engagement of youths for active economic participation, nation-building, economic development.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Federal Government YIEDEP Registration, you must:
- Be a citizen of Nigeria
- Be a youth between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Have a valid National Identity Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN).
- Show interest or already be in any of the following businesses;
- Agriculture
- Fashion
- Technology (ICT)
- Entertainment
- Sports
- Renewable Energy
- Other productive businesses
- Have an account with Lotus/Keystone/Fidelity Bank
- Be available to attend the training and mentorship program.
Benefits
Beneficiaries of the YEIDEP grant get a sum of ₦50,000 – ₦500,000
Method of Application
- Visit the NIYEEDEP Homepage.
- click on the Register Now button located on the top right corner.
- You will be directed to the registration portal where you will be asked to submit your personal details.
- The personal details to be submitted include;
- Name
- Address
- Phone Number
- State of Origin
- LGA
- BVN
- NIN
Once your registration is successful, you will receive a message on your screen showing your Membership Code. This code will be used for your registration at the partner banks (details below).
Method of Application
- you have to first complete your registration for the NIYEEDEP Program online.
- after you have obtained your membership code, you will proceed to the nearest Fidelity Bank branch with the code.
- this code will be used to create your personal bank account for the program.
