The Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids is inviting applications for Postdoctoral Fellows in Solid State Chemistry. Two posÂÂiÂÂtions conÂÂcern the thin film growth as main emphaÂÂsis and a third one is dedÂÂicÂÂated to their anaÂÂlysis and charÂÂacÂÂterÂÂisaÂÂtion.
Course Level: Fellowships are available to pursue Postdoctoral programme.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for this scholarship you must meet the following requirements:
Your ProÂÂfile, Skills, and ExperÂÂiÂÂence
- PhD in physÂÂics, chemÂÂistry, materÂÂiÂÂals, or cloÂÂsely relaÂÂted sciÂÂence obtaiÂÂned less than 3 years ago,
- a strong backÂÂground in thin film techÂÂniques is essenÂÂtial,
- ProÂÂfiÂÂciency with other comÂÂpleÂÂmentÂÂary laborÂÂatÂÂory techÂÂniques as menÂÂtioÂÂned above is desirÂÂable,
- ExperÂÂiÂÂence with reseÂÂarch at large scale facilÂÂitÂÂies,
- AbilÂÂity to interÂÂact with multi-disÂÂcipÂÂlinÂÂary staff at the borÂÂder betÂÂween physÂÂics and chemÂÂistry,
- Good time manÂÂageÂÂment skills and abilÂÂity to priÂÂorÂÂitÂÂize,
- EngÂÂlish proÂÂfiÂÂciency (workÂÂing lanÂÂguage in the group), GerÂÂman is of advantÂÂage for comÂÂmuÂÂnicÂÂaÂÂtion with our techÂÂnical perÂÂsonal.
