Somerville College and the University of Oxford have launched the Oxford-Thatcher Scholarships, a new program made possible by the help of several kind donors.

The Qatar Development Fund, which supports global initiatives in health, education, and economic development, donated £3 million to establish the Oxford-Qatar-Thatcher Graduate Scholarship. This will result in the creation of at least four scholarships, the first of which is anticipated to be given to a postgraduate student in 2023–2024.
