The Zeribe Nwosu Foundation (ZNF) hereby launch the ZNF Annual Essay Competition 2026.
In this essay, authors are to discuss, in their own words, what they perceive are the causes of conflicts between students and lecturers in higher education. Authors are encouraged to use hypothetical and anonymous examples to reinforce their essay. The essay to be submitted must be original and that of the authors. However, we encourage all authors to use this opportunity to learn to seek feedback from peers or mentors.

1st Prize – N75,000 (Seventy five thousand Naira)
2nd Prize – N50,000 (Fifty thousand Naira)
3rd Prize – N25,000 (Twenty five thousand Naira)

Requirements
1. The author must be an undergraduate in a Nigerian university (private or public) or a recent graduate.
2. Individuals that would have completed NYSC by May 31 2026 are not eligible to apply.
3. Only one submission is permitted per author.
4. Essays that do not conform to the essay specifications below will be deemed ineligible.
5. Only submissions made using this form will be considered. Unsolicited emailing of the essay to the foundation is not allowed.
ESSAY SPECIFICATIONS
1. Essay should be a maximum of 2,000 words (references are not required)
2. Essay document layout should be: font size – 12, font type – Arial and line spacing – 1.5.
