Fellowship Details

Fellows will be part of active research programmes and gain hands-on experience across:

  • Clinical trials
  • Epidemiology
  • Modelling & machine learning
  • Bioinformatics

Eligibility Requirements

𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭:

  • Be a national and resident of a Sub-Saharan African country
  • Hold a BSc (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Hold an MSc (GPA ≥ 3.2 or equivalent) in Biostatistics, Health Data Science, or a related discipline
  • Have at least 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Be able to code in R, Stata, or SAS (or willing to improves
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English

  • Practical experience in study design, data management, and statistical analysis
  • Mentorship from experienced biostatisticians and researchers
  • Training in statistical methods, software, and scientific writing
  • Exposure to real-world biomedical and public health research
