The Ondo State Scholarship Board announces the Scholarship Application for 2025/2026 Academic session Open. The State Government offer scholarships to foster academic excellence among indigent students in tertiary institution

Requirements

Bursary 

  • All students of Ondo State origin in Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, Colleges of Education, Schools of Nursing/Midwifery and Colleges of Health Technology across the Country are eligible.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

  • Applicants must be students of Ondo State origin in second (2nd) year and above in their courses of tudy to be qualified for Undergraduate Scholarship Award.
  • Each Prospective applicant must have a minimum CGPA of 4.0 for Universities on a scale of 5.0 and CGPA of 3.0 for Universities on a scale of 4.0. Students in Polytechnics must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

  • Medical Students of Ondo State origin on Clinical Studies in Tertiary Institutions across the Country are eligible.
  • Physically Challenged Students of Ondo State origin in Tertiary Institutions across the Country are eligible. 3. Ondo State students in Nigerian Law Schools need not apply as their details are processed directly through the Council of Legal Education.

The procedure and method of application for scholarship/bursary are as follows, in total compliance with government policies of transparency, accountability, and due process.

Application Documents

Each applicant is made to go through certain screening processes. Below are the certified documents required during the verification and monitoring exercise by the board.

  • Letter of identification from the Head of Department of the candidate’s institution.
  • Verification and monitoring exercises conducted by the board to confirm studentship.
  • Letter of identification from the Head of Department of the candidate’s institution.
  • Valid school identification card issued by the institution.
