The University of Wyoming in the United States is welcoming applications for a fully funded master’s scholarship program .

The fully funded University of Wyoming Masters Scholarship offers a tuition waiver, health insurance, and an annual stipend ($23,000 /yr). 

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the University of Wyoming Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • BS degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets with R statistical software 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

Additional Desired Qualifications

  • Experience processing and/or analyzing LiDAR datasets
  • Experience with deep learning and/or machine learning approaches
  • Experience conducting field work in remote settings
  • Experience writing and publishing peer-reviewed manuscripts

Benefits

  • This research assistantship is fully funded through the Wyoming Water Research Program and represents a collaboration between the Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center and Wyoming Forest Resilience Initiative.
  • The student will receive a tuition waiver, health insurance, and annual stipend ($23,000 /yr). The start date is August 2026 and expected graduation is May 2028.
