Uppsala University Scholarship is available each year for fee-paying international students who are applying for an international Bachelor’s and Master’s programme at the Swedish University.
The Uppsala University International Scholarships Uppsala University International Scholarships will cover the full tuition fees for studies at Uppsala University.
Requirements
To be considered for the Uppsala University Scholarship:
- You must be a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland.
- You must demonstrate academic talent and show interest in being in an educational environment.
- You can only be awarded an Uppsala University Global Scholarship for a Master’s programme at Uppsala University chosen as first priority (the programme which you have ranked the highest of the four programmes you can choose at University Admissions).
- You can only be awarded a King Carl Gustaf scholarship for a Master’s programme at Uppsala University chosen as first priority (the programme which you have ranked the highest of the four programmes you can choose at University Admissions).
- You can only be awarded an Anders Wall Scholarship for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme at Uppsala University chosen as first priority (the programme which you have ranked the highest of the programmes you can choose at University Admissions).
- You must have applied for the Master’s programme before the University Admissions deadline.
- You must meet the entry requirements for the Bachelor’s or Master’s programme you applied for.
- The application fee and your complete supporting documents must be received by University Admissions before the deadline.

NB: The scholarships will cover the cost of tuition but not living expenses.

- Apply for admissions to a Bachelor’s or Master’s program at Uppsala between Oct. 15, 2025, and Jan. 15, 2026.
- Once admitted, proceed to apply for the scholarship between Jan. 16 and Feb.2, 2026.
