The Dangote Management Trainee Programme is a prestigious 18-month programme designed to accelerate the development of high-potential mid-career professionals into future senior leaders of Dangote Cement. Successful Trainees will gain cross-functional exposure, intensive classroom learning, mentorship from senior executives, and real-world project experience across plants, depots, and corporate offices. The programme combines the rigor of an MBA with the practical immersion of a business rotation scheme, creating a pipeline of resilient, enterprise-minded leaders.

Key Expectations on the Programme

  • Complete an intensive 1-month classroom immersion covering business strategy, economic analysis, cement industry fundamentals, risk management, and leadership.
  • Undertake structured rotations across Operations & Technical, Commercial & Distribution, and Corporate Support functions.
  • Participate in site visits and extended assignments at major plants and depots to gain firsthand exposure to the industrial environment.

Requirements

  • Between 28 and 25 years old
  • Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND – for technical roles)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
  • Comfort with data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential with ability to influence stakeholders across levels
  • Resilience and adaptability to thrive in demanding industrial environments
