In Collaboration with the GIZ African Union, Meraki Afrique present this Writing Competition so that young people can showcase their writing skills and share their ideas.
Essay Theme: “No Visa, No Problem? Youth Perspectives on Intra-Africa Mobility”
This year’s theme invites young Africans to reflect on what it means to move, travel, and seek opportunity across borders within the continent. From dreams of studying in a neighbouring country to stories of relocation, cultural exchange,or even the barriers that limit free movement , we want to hear your voice. How do young people navigate belonging, identity, and aspiration in a continent that’s both deeply connected and unevenly accessible?
