The New Mexico State University Scholarship is a graduate master’s opportunity for students from the USA and international origin.
The scholarship fully funded for 2 years through a mix of research and teaching assistantships that covers tuition, health insurance, living stipend worth $21, 288 per year.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the New Mexico State University Scholarship, you must have the following:
- An undergraduate degree in the natural or social sciences, studying subjects relevant to this position
- Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders or communities on natural resources topics in the United States
- Familiarity or experience studying or working on forest management or wildfire in the United States is desirable
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independentlyÂ
Benefits
- This position will be fully funded for 2 years through a mix of research and teaching assistantships. This position is partially funded through the NSF Transformation Network’s research on wildfires and watersheds.
- The ideal start date is January 2026, but other start dates will be considered up until August 2026.Â
