The School of Medicine at the University College Dublin in Ireland is inviting applications for a fully funded Master’s studentship opportunity.
The UCD School of Medicine Scholarship offers a full study opportunity that includes tuition and living stipends for candidates to pursue a Master’s by research in Ireland.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the UCD School of Medicine Masters Scholarship, you must:
Essential:
- BSc in biochemistry, cell biology or related a science discipline
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
combined with a proven ability to work well in a team and to
develop collaborative relationships
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a research laboratory environment

Responsibilities
- Complete experiments in a timely and efficient manner using cell and molecular biology approaches
- To conduct and plan own scientific work with appropriate supervision
- Contribute to the design of future experiments
- Be organised and maintain excellent records of experimental work
- Accurately analyse data generated
- Engage in appropriate training and professional development activities
- Contribute to dissemination of project results
- Assist and support other group members with their research activities and contribute to running of the lab
