Mkpouto Pius Foundation launch the WomanUp Scholarship Programme.The WomanUp Programme intends to raise a crop of excellent women who will excel in their academics and subsequent career, and move us significantly towards achieving gender equality.
Benefits
- Full university tuition fees paid directly to the University bank account per year for 4 years of university.
- Stipend of 100,000 Naira per semester.
- 50,000 Naira to cover the cost of departmental and faculty registration.
- Fees and stipend for the next year will only be paid upon providing evidence of top academic performance in the previous year.
- Monthly internet subscription for members of the cohort so that there are no limitations for them to study, do part-time remote work, or attend monthly coaching or check-in sessions.
Requirements
- To be eligible, you must meet all of the following requirements.
- Applicant must be a Female Nigerian StudentÂ
- Recently admitted to study in a Nigerian public university (only for females looking to start their first year of university)
- Academic excellence
- Demonstrate financial need
- Be willing to fill in monthly reports and attend monthly check-in sessions
- ?Be willing to attend mentoring events
- Ready to participate in career development opportunities like attending conferences, taking up fellowships, publishing papers, etc
