The MTN CHAMPS Competition For Young Nigerians aims to discover and develop athletic potential to transform the sporting landscape in Nigeria.
MTN CHAMPS is a program in Nigeria that aims to unearth and foster athletic talent across the country.
Through the MTN Foundation CHAMPS Program, talented young Nigerians from all corners of the country will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and receive the training.
Requirements:
To be considered for the MTN CHAMPS Competition:
- Be a Nigerian
- Be aged 14 and above
- Register before the commencement of the competition
Duration and Reward
Through this program, talented individuals from all corners of the country will have the opportunity to
- showcase their skills and
- receive the training and support they need to reach their full potential as world-class athletes.
- Selected athletes will be sponsored on fully funded study scholarships
- MTN CHAMPS will consist of four 4-day Championships nationwide, held in
Yaba, Lagos between April 9 – 12, 2025, with the Grand Finale held at the Uyo Stadium between April 30 and May 3, 2025.
Method of Application
Follow the procedures below to register and participate in the MTN Champs Competition 2025;

- Fill the registration form and submit appropriately
- To enter, a recognized official of your School or Team, e.g. Principal, Games Master, PE Teacher, Athletics Coach or Captain must register your ‘10+10’ Entries at MTNCHAMPS.COM,
- You may promote your participation by posting the most fun and creative videos on social media of your School/Team training or trying out for MTN CHAMPS, at interhouse or inter-school sports, in practice or at any other competitions, along with the hashtag for your city (e.g. #MTNCHAMPSIbadan, etc)!
