Benefits

• The Midwestern Oil and Gas Scholarship Award Scheme will give successful candidates a sum of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (?150,000) only every year.
• The The Midwestern Oil and Gas Scholarship Award is renewable every year until graduation.

Requirements

UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY AWARD – For Host Communities Only

• Scholarship is open to 100 & 200 level students at the time of application.
• Minimum of 5 Credits in SSCE or GCE including Mathematics & English, in one sitting.
• JAMB/UTME & University admission letter from an accredited/approved university in Nigeria.
• Current University ID Card.
• Identification letter signed by the Ward Councilor or CACC (Community Accredited Contact-men Committee).

UNIVERSITY MERIT AWARD – For Delta State Indigenes Only

• Scholarship is open to 200 level students who must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 at the time of application.
• Minimum of 5 Credits in SSCE or GCE including Mathematics & English, in one sitting.
• JAMB/UTME & University admission letter from an accredited/approved university in Nigeria.
• Current University ID Card.
• Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of his/her first year in the University (3.5 and above).
• Letter of identification from LGA.

Application Documents

1. Ensure the name used in applications matches the names on all documentation in same order. Upload a sworn affidavit or certificate if otherwise. 
2. Ensure you view all documents after uploading, to ensure that they are clear and accurate. 
3. When asked to upload photo, upload a passport photograph with a white background. 
4. Recheck application information to avoid errors

6. You will receive an email and a sms that confirms your application was successful. 
7. Return to https://candidate.scholastica.ng/, enter your Email and Password to download your profile and proceed to have your Head of Department sign the document. 
8. Upload a scanned copy of the signed profile, this would be used for verification. 
9. If National Identification Number (NIN) number was not available in step 6, to obtain your National Identification Number (NIN)

5. Enter your registered email and password to upload your information. 
6. Visit http://ninenrol.gov.ng to register and learn more about the National Identity Number   
7. Click “Create Account” and fill in the required  fields   
8. Login with Email and Password to complete the form   
9. After completion, schedule a date for photo and finger print capture   
10. Visit any of the 37 capture centres www.nimc.gov.ng/pages/general/enrolmentcentres.htm  to complete the registration process and obtain your National Identity Number   
11. You can also do your total registration at the NIMC office
