About the Programme
The UN Youth Affairs Young Leaders for the SDGs Programme identifies, celebrates, and empowers 17 exceptional young people every two years who are leading efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This initiative by the United Nations focuses on amplifying the voices of youth who are advancing social, economic, and environmental progress in their communities.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the 2025 Young Leaders for the SDGs Programme, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 to 30 years.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and impact within their communities.
- Work towards achieving at least one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
- Be available to actively engage with the UN and its partners throughout the program.
