Applications for the 2025 Taiwan International Internship Program (TIIP) 2025 have now opened.

The Taiwan International Internship Program (TIIP) 2025 offers a 30,000/month stipend and covers half the cost of your airfare from your home country to Taiwan. You get the opportunity to acquire scientific education, receive hands-on training, and learn the Chinese language.

Requirements

To be considered for the Taiwan International Internship Program (TIIP) 2025, you must be one of the following:

• Undergraduate students in their final year
• Master Students
• Individuals holding a B.S. or Master’s degree

Note: The followings are not eligible for the TIIP program:

• Students pursuing a Ph.D. degree program.
• Students/ Individuals who have attended the TIIP program before.
• The current employees or research assistants at Academia Sinica.

Benefits

Participants of the Taiwan International Internship Program will enjoy the following benefits;

• NTD 30,000/month stipend (before tax) and half of the cheapest route round-trip airfare of an economy class from the intern’s hometown to Taipei.
• Note: If the interns are from the same location in the same batch, the reimbursement will be based on the lowest price (Max. NTD 15,000).
• On-campus accommodation will be arranged with affordable price.
• Opportunity to acquire scientific education, receive hands-on training, and learn the Chinese language.

Internship Program Duration

Internship Duration: 2 months

• 1^st cohort: 1^st May – 30^th Jun.
• 2^nd cohort: 1^st Jun. – 31^st Jul. 
• 3^rd cohort: 1^st Jul. – 31^st Aug.
