Fully Funded 2025 Konan University MEXT Scholarship in Japan.

The Konan University MEXT Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship offered by the Japanese Government to international students.

The Konan University Scholarship covers the full tuition fees and travel expenses of all selected applicants, and provides monthly living stipends.

• Okamoto Campus: Graduate school of Humanities, Social science, Natural science
• Port island Campus: Graduate School of Frontiers of Innovative Research in Science and Technology

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Konan University Scholarship, you must:

• have a bachelor’s degree to apply for a master’s program and a master’s degree for a PhD program.
• demonstrate proficiency in either English or Japanese.
• be an international applicant seeking admission to Konan University.
• apply for the program and scholarship on or before the deadline.

Required Documents

To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;

• Application form (RESEARCH STUDENTS) & Field of Study and Research Plan
• Recommendation letter (Non-copy): It is obliged to be signed by dean of your university you currently admitted and addressed to the president of Konan University.   
• Copy of the passport holder’s information page 
• Academic transcript at your bachelor course (Non-copy).
• Also a transcript at your master course in case you apply to the doctoral course. 
• Certificate of Graduation or Expected Graduation (Non-copy)
• Abstract of thesis
• Certificate of your language proficiency of Japanese or English – TOEFL, IELTS, JLPT are acceptable (In case you don’t have the certificate of them, please consult the KIEC).

To apply for the Konan University MEXT Scholarship, interested and qualified candidates should;

• Applicants need to contact Konan University professor(s) prior to obtaining consent to be your academic supervisor.
• All required application documents should be submitted to the contact professor by the deadline.
• You must submit all of the required documents, materials including photo data to contact professor no later than 17:00(JST) on 10th January 2025. 
• Late application will not be non-accepted. Also, please send the original documents by FEDEX / DHL / EMS in order to reach by 31st January 2025.
