The University of Notre Dame Scholarship Program selects prospective first-year Notre Dame students to receive merit-based scholarship awards based on their highly competitive academic records.

The University of Notre Dame Scholars Program provides recipients with an annual award of $25,000, for a total of $100,000 over four years, and in some cases generous enrichment funding for scholarship, service, and leadership projects.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the University of Notre Dame Scholars Program, you must:

  • Be applying to an undergraduate program at the institution
  • Be a domestic or an international student
  • Meet the English Language requirements of the University of Notre Dame
  • Apply before the deadline.

Required Documents

To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;

  • Application Form
  • Academic records and high school transcripts.
  • Optional ACT/SAT scores.
  • English proficiency test results (if applicable).
  • Letters of recommendation from a teacher and counselor.
  • Writing supplements.

  • Complete the Notre Dame Writing Supplement.
  • Submit optional ACT/SAT scores, if applicable.
  • Send TOEFL, IELTS, DET, or PTE Academic scores if your first language is not English.
  • Provide high school transcripts and a letter of recommendation from a teacher.
  • Pay a non-refundable $75 application fee.
  • Submit a copy of your passport via the applicant status portal.
