The University of Dundee is pleased to announce the 2024/25 Humanitarian Scholarship / Afghan Women’s Scholarship.

The University of Dundee Humanitarian Scholarship provides coverage for the full fees of your tuition, accommodation, and living stipends while studying in the UK.

Selected candidates will receive the following;

  • Full tuition fee waiver (if study is longer than 1 year, only first year will be funded)
  • A monthly living stipend to cover living costs while in the UK
  • A monthly allowance for accommodation in line with the University Accommodation amount
  • Applicants can also choose to stay on campus or in private residence. Accommodation allowance will be paid directly to successful candidates, who are then responsible for the accommodation costs.

Please note that the ‘Humanitarian Scholarship’ and our ‘University of Dundee Afghan Women’s Scholarship’ draw on the same budget for funding. This budget allows us to fund approximately 24 fully-funded scholarships. However, the number of awards allocated to each scholarship is determined by University of Dundee after the closing date. This allocation is made according to the volume and relative quality of applications received. As a University of Sanctuary, the University also reserves the right to create new scholarships which draw from this fund in response to global developments.
