Each year, the Romanian Government, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, provides scholarships to individuals from non-EU countries. Eligible candidates must demonstrate good academic performance, with an average score of at least 7 (seven) on the Romanian grading system or an equivalent “Good” score.

The scholarship covers three levels of study at accredited higher education institutions in Romania:

a) Bachelor’s degree: Designed for high school graduates or equivalent, spanning 3-6 years depending on specialization, culminating in a bachelor’s exam.

b) Master’s degree: Open to undergraduates, ranging from 1 to 2 years, concluding with a dissertation exam.

c) PhD: Tailored for graduate students, lasting 3-5 years, ending with a PhD thesis presentation. Prior to application, candidates must secure written agreement from a Doctoral Tutor and pass an admission interview.

Submission of a complete application file.

Presentation of academic documents from recognized institutions.

Compliance with enrollment deadlines.

Attainment of good academic results, as per Romanian scoring standards.

Adherence to application submission guidelines.

Please note that scholarships are not available for fields such as MEDICINE, DENTAL MEDICINE, and PHARMACY.

Applications are accepted from January 16, 2024, to March 16, 2024, with selection results expected by July 15, 2024. Upon selection, additional formalities, including visa procurement, will be necessary.
