Requirements

To be eligible for the undergraduate and postgraduate Egbe Omo Yoruba Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

Attend an accredited University/Polytechnic in Nigeria.
Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 or 3.75/5.0 on the grading scale.
Provide essential information, including:
- Name of the University/Polytechnic
- City & State of the institution
- Full Name as per University/Polytechnic records
- Transcript as proof of educational performance, specifying Major, Year Level, and Cumulative GPA.
Demonstrate financial need through a well-articulated written statement (short essay) submitted with the application.
Submit a letter of recommendation from an academic staff member familiar with the student’s performance and character.

The Egbe Omo Yoruba Scholarship employs a comprehensive selection process to ensure deserving students receive the support they need:

Initial Application Review: All submitted applications and supporting documents will undergo a thorough review.
Zoom Interviews: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for virtual interviews via Zoom conducted by the scholarship committee.
